About the Project

The GatE project (Gender Equality in the Green Energy Transition) is a two-year project co-funded by the European Union under the Erasmus+ Programme, European policy experimentation (Project number: 101195962, Call reference: ERASMUS-EDU-2024-POL-EXP-VET). Bringing together 11 partners from Greece, Spain, Belgium, and Norway, the project aims to promote gender equality in the green energy sector, supporting inclusive vocational training, mentorship, and policy innovation. GatE develops tools and strategies to empower women, especially from marginalised groups, to be supported in green technology careers, shaping a more inclusive and sustainable energy transition across Europe.
